Conditions we assess and refer
Some conditions need care from a specialist team. If we find signs of a jaw bone infection (osteomyelitis) or a jaw bone problem linked to bone-strengthening medication (MRONJ), we'll explain what we've found and arrange a referral to the right place. If you take medication for osteoporosis or cancer, please tell us before any extraction or implant is planned, so we can plan your care safely.
