Your nearby dentist, a short drive from Neutral Bay
Nest Dental is at Suite 99, 545 Pacific Highway, St Leonards, around a 10 minute drive from Neutral Bay Junction. Neutral Bay has no station, so we plan the trip around the drive across Ernest Street and send parking directions before you arrive.
A ten minute drive from Neutral Bay Junction
Neutral Bay is really two suburbs at once. Down around Anderson Park, Wycombe Road and Kurraba Point it is quiet family streets with the harbour at the end of them. Up on the ridge, the apartment towers along Military Road and Ben Boyd Road hold one of the densest populations on the lower north shore, shopping at the Junction and catching buses from the stops out front.
What both halves share is that there is no railway station anywhere in the suburb. Life runs along Military Road, and most dental care means getting in the car or onto a bus. The drive worth knowing is the one that skips the Military Road crawl: Ernest Street across to Miller Street, then north onto the Pacific Highway through Crows Nest, around 10 minutes from the Junction.
At the end of that drive is one address where everything from a check-up to implants and cosmetic work actually happens, which is the point of making the trip at all. Locals who know Hayes Street Beach at low tide or the back lanes behind Grosvenor Lane will find the St Leonards side of the highway just as easy to read.

Dr Carlos Turk sees many of the Neutral Bay patients who come to us for implants and rebuilt teeth as well as their regular check-ups. Our dentists have each been practising for more than 25 years, and Neutral Bay families stay with the dentist they choose rather than whoever is available.
Why Neutral Bay patients choose Nest Dental
A route that skips Military Road
From Neutral Bay Junction the trip is around 3.5 km, roughly 9 to 11 minutes by car. The route worth using is Ernest Street across to Miller Street and then the Pacific Highway, which keeps you out of the Military Road crawl for most of the way. We send parking directions with your confirmation so the last two minutes are not spent circling St Leonards.
The full range under one roof
Neutral Bay has plenty of small practices, but the full range from check-ups and fillings through to crowns, implants and cosmetic work all happens in our one St Leonards address with the same team. That means one set of records and no being referred across the lower north shore halfway through a treatment plan.
Choose a dentist and keep them
Families around Anderson Park and Kurraba Point tend to stay put for years, and so do the apartment households along Ben Boyd Road. You choose a dentist at your first visit and keep them, so a child's changing bite or an old crown that is starting to leak gets noticed by someone who has watched it over time. Our dentists have each been practising for more than 25 years.
Judgement-free care and claiming at the desk
Some Neutral Bay patients arrive after a long stretch away. We do not comment on the gap. We deal with anything sore first, move to prevention from there, hold evening and Saturday appointments plus same-day emergency time, claim your rebate on the spot through HICAPS, and are a preferred provider with NIB, CBHS, TUH, Union Health and smile.com.au, which may reduce out of pocket costs on routine visits.
Family dental care that suits the Neutral Bay week
Neutral Bay parents already spend a fair share of the week on Military Road: school drop-off towards the Junction, the grocery run, the commute. We would rather not add four separate dental trips to that, so families are booked in blocks and we confirm a realistic finish time before you set out from home.
Children from the local primary school community are welcome from their first tooth, and parents often bring a younger sibling to sit in on an older child's appointment. It makes the younger one's first visit far less of an event when their turn comes around, and siblings can usually be seen back to back.
For the apartment households along Ben Boyd Road and the long-term families near Anderson Park alike, we set out costs in writing before any treatment, claim your health fund rebate on the spot through HICAPS, and can stage bigger treatment such as implants across health fund years rather than in one go.

Where to park
Neutral Bay patients drive, so we plan parking with you. Metered street parking runs along the side streets off the Pacific Highway, and the Forum precinct parking stations are a few minutes walk from reception when the highway spaces fill during hospital changeover.
Public transport
With no railway line in Neutral Bay, buses from the Military Road stops connect through North Sydney and along the Pacific Highway to St Leonards. That is the option worth using after treatment where driving yourself home is not ideal.
