Your nearby dentist, one stop from Artarmon
Nest Dental is at Suite 99, 545 Pacific Highway, St Leonards, approximately 2 km from the Artarmon village shops. St Leonards is the next stop south of Artarmon Station on the North Shore line, or around a 5 minute drive down the Pacific Highway.
A single train stop from Artarmon
Artarmon runs in two halves. On one side there is the village: the Hampden Road shops, the primary school, quiet streets of federation homes and young families walking to the station. On the other there is the commercial and industrial pocket running towards Gore Hill, full of workshops, showrooms, studios and offices that fill up every weekday morning.
We see both groups. An Artarmon parent booking the children in after school has very different constraints to someone who cannot leave a Gore Hill office until six, so we do not pretend one appointment time suits everyone in the suburb.
What both halves share is the train. St Leonards is the next stop south of Artarmon Station, and our door sits a few minutes walk from that platform on the Pacific Highway side. That one stop is the reason a check-up here can genuinely happen inside a lunch break.

Dr Carlos Turk looks after many of the Artarmon patients who come in with worn or broken back teeth from years of heavy work. Our dentists have each been practising for more than 25 years, and you keep the same dentist visit after visit rather than starting over each time.
Why Artarmon patients choose Nest Dental
One stop down the line
Artarmon Station is a single stop north of St Leonards, which makes us one of the easiest practices to reach without a car. Come out at St Leonards on the Pacific Highway side and you are a few minutes walk from our door. For Artarmon residents who already ride that line into the city, an appointment is a matter of getting off one stop earlier.
Appointments that suit workers around Gore Hill
Artarmon is two suburbs in one: the village side around Hampden Road, and the commercial and industrial pocket stretching towards Gore Hill. We see plenty of people from both. Warehouse and workshop staff tend to book early before a shift, while office workers around the Gore Hill business park take a lunchtime or evening slot, and we hold same-day emergency time for the days something cannot wait.
Judgement-free and prevention-first
Many Artarmon patients come to us after a stretch of years with no check-up, often because their old dentist sat near a job they no longer have. We will not comment on how long it has been. We assess what is there today, focus on preventing the next problem, and stage anything larger around your work roster rather than all at once.
Experienced dentists and on the spot claiming
Our dentists have each been practising for more than 25 years, so a family from Hampden Road and a tradesperson from the Artarmon industrial estate can both be looked after in the same practice. We claim health fund rebates at the front desk through HICAPS, and we are a preferred provider with NIB, CBHS, TUH, Union Health and smile.com.au, which may reduce out of pocket costs on routine care.
Care that fits an Artarmon work day, or an Artarmon school run
If you work in the Artarmon industrial area, dental appointments tend to be the thing that keeps sliding. Booking a 7:30 slot before a shift, or a lunchtime visit with the train doing the travelling, removes most of the excuse. We keep those early and midday times deliberately free rather than filling them weeks in advance.
For the Hampden Road side of Artarmon, it is usually the after school window that matters. Families book back to back appointments so the whole household is done in one trip, and children see the same dentist each visit, which makes the second and third appointment far less of a negotiation than the first.
Whichever side of Artarmon you are coming from, we set out costs in writing before treatment begins and sequence larger work so it can be spread across health fund years rather than landing in a single month.

Getting here from Artarmon
By train, one stop
Board at Artarmon Station and get off at St Leonards, the very next stop south. Leave by the Pacific Highway exit and walk towards Royal North Shore Hospital to reach Suite 99, 545 Pacific Highway on the ground floor.

Driving and parking
From the Hampden Road shops it is approximately 2 km straight down the Pacific Highway, around 5 minutes outside peak. Use the metered street parking on the side streets off the highway, or the parking stations in the Forum precinct a few minutes walk away.
From the Gore Hill side
Coming from the Artarmon industrial area or the Gore Hill business park, it is a short run along the highway, and many patients simply walk across from that side rather than moving the car at all. Buses along the Pacific Highway are another option at peak times.
